I am the funding coordinator of St Johns Parish Church Withycombe Raleigh Exmouth, Devon, where Hewitt & Son Ltd recently completed a major re-roofing project, undertaken for much of 2009. My role was to report to the various funding bodies and the PCC, to liaise with the architect and M Jed Hewitt, to monitor progress and to approve payments.
St Johns is a busy church and I am pleased to write that the work was undertaken conscientiously, thoroughly and with respect for the building and the services. The programme of work was well organised and logical, the workmen experienced and professional and the quality of the finished product was excellent. Communication with Mr Hewitt and hiss staff was easy, and we quickly established a good rapport.
